IMPORT and EDIT DESIGNS

Forté supports 16 embroidery designs formats - including many home machine formats - making it easy to import a wide variety of stock designs. The software allows you to edit designs with powerful easy-to-use features. Center design, delete, move, mirror, rotate, cut, copy, paste, undo, and redo are only a few of the editing fetures you can use to customer your favorite stock designs.

OVER 250 FONTS

Each level of Forté comes loaded with over 250 fonts arranged into five separate categories: Serif and Sans-Serif Typefaces, Vintage, Traditional Monograms, Decorative, and Script. These fonts enable you to combine and edit an unlimited number of desgns with a variety of lettering styles to give you the creative freedom you need to assemble great embroidery designs!

EXTENSIVE LETTERING CONTROLS

Pesonalize designs with custom text! Forté makes it easy with its extensive control over lettering. The easy-to-use lettering feature allows you to adjust line-spacing, kerning, and word spacing. Other controls include character size and width , character angle, paragraph justification, and monogram sizing. You can also add auto-underlay, pull compensation, lock stiches and trims, and even control the sewing direction of lettering. Forté also supports extended characters sets, comes with a character map, and has a built-in spell check feature!

MONOGRAMMING

Create vintage-style monograms with easy-to-use monogram character sizing options. The character map makes it easy to access left, center, and right characters to create traditional looking diamond and circle monograms quickly.

WREATH and ARRAY TOOLS

Forté allows you to copy and repeat designs or objects both vertically and horizontally or in a circular pattern using the Array and Wreath tools. These time-saving tools are ideal for pateches or decorative stitch patterns that step and repeat, or for creating decorative borders.
